(7/10) If there's one great reason to live in Cardiff it's the chance to try food from pretty much any culture of the world. Sure you can do that in London, Birmingham or Manchester, but here it's on a wonderfully intimate scale.
So what if the tiny dining are brings back memories of a slightly dodgy B&B breakfast room, or the music is more X Factor than Korean ethno - this is a place to tell your friends about. Certainly if they are pyromaniacs. The highlight of the experience is your own personal table-top barbecue filled with a pile of raw meat and veg just waiting for you to fire that baby up.
Which means it's not a great idea to turn up drunk if you want the food to taste good. Actually, the beef barbecue is not the most thrilling of gastronimic experiences, but the starters are a real treat. Spciy cabbage, soy nuts and seafood frittata all pour out of the kitchens and straight down your neck.
Prices are great, staff are delighted to give you a cookery tutorial - definitely worth a punt.
